The G-Force 1800 SSS is a little meaner and leaner than the ‘C’ (Cruise) design, with the waterline beam ratio at 15:1, the freeboard slightly lower, the forward double bunks on the bridgdeck have been removed, moving the trampolines back 1.5m and then using a ‘soft’ bottom shoe with all stealth type styling above.

The displacement is slightly lighter at 11 tonnes compared with 12.5 tonnes, this increases her power to weight ratio positively.

'ZERO' is the first SSS design on the water and was built by Cure Composites using Cure Fusion panels, made in-house. The finish as you can see is beautiful, with a stark black and white interior colour scheme and stainless furnishings.

The G-Force 1800C is the ultimate in high performance cruising catamarans. This design has been the basis for a number of vessels and new designs, including the Legend 60, the 1800SSS and the 2000 Speciale.

Staying true to her heritage she is extremely quick while not compromising too much of the luxury that one expects from a design of this size. Inside we have a number of different layout options, however the standard layout features two king sized cabins forward, a split up/down galley and spacious saloon that opens onto a large cockpit.

Twin helms have been the favorite choice when it comes to the smaller G-Force designs however the 1800C leans more toward easier sailing and even single-handing, utilizing a single helm station with all sail controls running back to one central location.

Powered systems are recommended if you're thinking of handling the boat short-handed (a couple for instance), these systems are invaluable for hoisting sails and controlling the entire boat with the push of a button (or touchpad).

The G-Force 1800C is a one-of-a-kind performance oriented cruising catamaran with a generous payload and plenty of room for all of the toys you'd expect.

Everyone loves the concept and look, and dreams of being the young at heart racer they probably once were, but now having matured into a sensible, almost balanced individual, they realise some common sense needs to be put into the mix. No, not enough to be boring – just enough to allow fast cruising in a cutting edge lean but not too mean cat.

Everyone loves the concept and look, and dreams of being the young at heart racer they probably once were, but now having matured into a sensible, almost balanced individual, they realise some common sense needs to be put into the mix.

No, not enough to be boring - just enough to allow fast cruising in a cutting edge lean but not too mean cat. For round the world cruising, and this is where most are aimed, a little more displacement is needed to carry the payload of enough food, water and those few essential toys like surfboards, a kayak or dive tanks that make cruising so much more fun.

A cat this size really demands some luxury and better room in the individual hulls to feel like home. These are the changes she accommodates very well yet she remains nice and slim at 13.4:1 waterline beam ratio.

There is that little bit more headroom in the saloon and easier walk-down headroom over the steps, things racers can live without in their quest to win.

The G-Force 1700C is a mid to large-sized performance cruiser that will embarass other catamaran owners in regattas and sleep 6-8 family or friends comfortably.

Peter Wilcox (GF1500 Owner “Mojo”) is finding her a very comfortable cruiser having now clocked up thousands of ocean miles but he needs to keep her mean and lean for speed, and while we all imagine ourselves as serious racing sailors as we of course used to be a reality check in the mirror sadly reflects a rather more mature sailor with often a very different beam to length ratio.

Add in the kids and grandchildren and it becomes clear our real requirements are a little different now. Usher in the new G-Force 1500 “Cruise” design, this is definitely a better fit as she can carry the extra cruising gear we need for that circumnavigation, the toys we want and the comfortable accommodation to have family and friends join us as and where they can.

However it is important that she retains her blood lines, good beam to length ratios, fresh power to weight ratios and a moderate mast height and yet just so easy to sail.

CE compliance is optional with this design. European owners and builders will require this. Displacement has been increased to carry the additional structural requirements and provide good cruising payload.

The G-Force 1400 was where it all began, the first of the G-Force range and the first to prove that true performance and modern comfort could go hand in hand. The G-Force 1400 really is a lean, mean athlete, and weight overall must be kept to a minimum - not so with the G-Force 1400C!

This new addition to the G-Force family boasts a higher displacement and payload, plus a bit of extra room for the cruising toys. This design is currently under construction in Australia.

Construction is our proven Schionning build system that has been producing beautiful catamarans for over 20 years - the high tech composite materials, including pre-laminated panels and some strip planking (to achieve the soft curves of the design).

West System epoxy and S-Glass (lighter yet with the same strength and stiffness of standard fibreglass) cloth is used for the shell construction. Carbon options are certainly available and quite popular, however these choices need to be made by you the owner, to produce an end result that is within your chosen budget.

The G-Force 1400 is a mid-sized performance cruiser that will embarass other catamaran owners in regattas and sleep 4-6 family or friends comfortably.

The Schionning Designs team is excited to introduce the modern and stylish Arrow 1360. The 1200 design concept originated by looking back at the classic Schionning designs, at a time when the primary considerations were defined by need and not greed. When building your own multihull, there are many factors that can push out the cost and budget of the project. Firstly, your choice of design is important as far as internal volume, a certain amount of accommodation is going to take a certain amount of materials. Secondly, the “must-have” choices - while it is nice to have all the bells and whistles this too often blows out the costings of any build. The 1360 is based on her smaller sister, but with more room and the weight-carrying capacity for a few extra toys!

The Arrow 1360’s best feature by far is the simple 100% flat-panel construction method. Yes, you read correctly. This design comes as a fully pre-cut kit direct to your door, with only a handful of tools required to get started. To help cut costs further, the Arrow 1360 kit can be ordered in a shell-only kit, or with furniture, depending on your budget. If your budget is a little more generous, you can order the furniture fully pre-cut, ready to tape together. However if you’re wanting to save every penny, why not order a shell-only kit, and piece together the interior as and when you can afford it? The aesthetic style of the Arrow is really determined by this build process, and without any time-consuming strip-planked curves she has a very modern, stealth styling that will certainly turn heads.

The Arrow 1280-S was designed to the Arrow 1200 and stretch her out, adding some different layout features but keeping the pedigree that made these designs so successful.

A newer skinnier sister has joined the Arrow family, the Arrow 1280-S. This design concept takes the Arrow's purist values one step further; shedding another skin to become a real serpent of the seas but keeping the longer waterline length. We have drawn from the same "back to the future" low cost concept, only this time focusing her performance with narrower hulls, shallower draft and a practical interior layout. The Arrow 1280-S will of course feature the 100% flat panel construction that has made the Arrow Series such a popular design.

The Arrow 1280-S was designed to the Arrow 1200 and stretch her out, adding some different layout features but keeping the pedigree that made these designs so successful. A large cockpit is a must with the door set to port, allowing a sizeable table and plenty of seating for entertaining guests. Dual steering wheels are standard being set on the outer hull edge giving excellent visibility of sails and sea conditions.

The saloon is a little different with a U-shaped galley and saloon, instead of the space being blended together as in the original 1200 design. The nav station sits amidships to port, with the single head and shower located aft. Dual double berths are located on the bridgedeck forward, with access from each hull. A single berth in the starboard bow and additional double berth aft give the 1280-S plenty of accommodation.
